General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all paid and free offers, services and appointment bookings concluded via the website www.releasetalk.de or directly with Gülcan Karaboga de Barcelo.
They apply to all services in the area of supportive conversations and conversation accompaniment.

Freelance activity according to §18 EStG.
Small business owner according to §19 UStG (no VAT shown).
3. Type of service
I offer supportive conversations and counseling sessions that provide emotional relief, clarification, and assistance in everyday life.
This is expressly not:

• Psychotherapy as defined by the Psychotherapists Act (PsychThG)

• Medical practice within the meaning of the German Law on Non-Medical Practitioners

• medical, psychological or diagnostic consultation

• Coaching with a promise of success or results

My services do not replace therapy or medical treatment and do not constitute a cure.
4. Conclusion of the contract
A contract is formed through:

• an appointment booking via the booking system (Wix Bookings) or

• A confirmation of the appointment will be sent via email.

By booking, customers accept these terms and conditions.
For online bookings, the contract is considered concluded as soon as a booking confirmation has been sent by email.
5. Prices & Payment
The prices published on the website at the time of booking apply.
Payment is made via the offered payment methods (e.g. Stripe, PayPal).
All prices are final prices in accordance with §19 UStG (small business regulation – no VAT).
6. Appointment cancellations & postponements
Since specific times are reserved for meetings, the following conditions apply:

• Cancellation up to 24 hours before the appointment: free of charge

• Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance: 100% of the agreed fee

• Failure to appear without prior cancellation: 100% of the fee

The cancellation must be made in writing via email. The time of receipt is decisive.
7. Use of the booking system (Wix Bookings)
Appointments are booked via an external system from Wix.com.
No liability is accepted for technical malfunctions, failures or inaccessibility of the system.
8. Disclaimer
I am liable only for intentional acts and gross negligence.
I am not liable for damages that arise if customers withhold or provide incomplete relevant information.
I accept no liability for decisions, actions, or changes that customers make as a result of the discussions.
No promise of healing or change is given.
9. Data protection
The privacy policy linked on the website applies.
10. Storage of the contract text
The contract text is not stored separately.
The booking confirmation serves as documentation of the conclusion of the contract.
11. Right of withdrawal (for consumers)
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The period begins on the day the contract is concluded.

Expiry of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if:

• the service was fully provided after customers had expressly agreed,

• and have confirmed that their right of withdrawal expires upon commencement of the service provision.

This consent is given in the booking system.
12. Online dispute resolution pursuant to Article 14 of the ODR Regulation
The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution:

I am neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
13. Final Provisions
German law applies.
Should any provision of these terms and conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
